Eden is the Chinese Liaison Officer for Pippa’s Guardians. She came from Hei Longjiang province, China, and now lives in Worcester in the UK, and is married with a daughter, aged six. She has both a bachelor’s degree in art and design from Jilin art university and a master’s degree in human recourses management from the North East Normal University. She is fluent in Mandarin, English and just a little Japanese. Whilst in China, Eden worked for ten years in human resources management for several multinational companies (ICI, Thyssenkrupp, AEI, Nestlé). She has worked for Pippa’s Guardians for three years.

Eden works closely with our experienced Area Managers to ensure smooth communication whilst helping to resolve issues in understanding parental wishes. She is responsible for translating meeting reports, visit reports, emails and other material at the request of your child’s Area Manager.

She is also responsible for managing Pippa’s Guardians WeChat account and WeChat official account. She can help translate your WeChat messages and communicate on your behalf. Eden is always available via WeChat, email, phone or Whatsapp if you need any help with the communication between you and your Area Manager.

If your child attends one of our Pippa’s Guardians Camps, Eden will be responsible for daily communication with you to give feedback on your child’s welfare, sharing photos and videos of the camp with you and will help to solve any issues that may arise.

As a mother Eden understands parents’ anxieties about their child being alone in a foreign country. She hopes that during your child’s study period in the UK, she can bridge the gap between you and Pippa’s Guardians Area Management team. She looks forward to communicating with your child and helping them to settle into boarding school life in the UK.

Eden has lived-in at school during her high-school years and, later, lived away from home whilst at university in China. She understands how difficult it can be for a child and his/her family that to adapt to the cultural and linguistic differences between China and the UK.
