Our Covid-19 Testing Service has quickly become an integral part of our provision to support our students and their parents. We have swiftly reacted to the changing needs of the Pippa’s Guardians community and responded with a solution that provides everyone with peace of mind. The safety and wellbeing of Pippa’s Guardians students is always our priority as we work hard to do all we can to support the continuation of their education in the UK.

Testing for travel

We are able to arrange a test and provide a named certificate suitable for international travel when our students return home for their holidays or for our parents after their visits to the UK.

Our testing service is provided by an ISO 15189 accredited government approved medical laboratory who deliver a result within 24 hours of receiving the sample. This allows testing to be completed within the designated 72 hours before departure, stipulated by most authorities. The Covid-19 test is a Nucleic acid swab RT/PCR test to detect if an active Covid-19 infection is present and is gold standard in terms of accuracy. The test result is provided in the form of a certificate suitable for travel where the name must exactly match the name on the passport and travel documentation. Evidence of the laboratory ISO certification is also provided.

We kindly ask that our parents and students request their Covid-19 test kit a minimum of 7 days before the required date of testing. Due to the tight 72 hour timescale we ask that flights are booked allowing 3 working days (excluding Sundays) to receive the results in good time for travel. A consent form is required.
