The Pippa's Team
Pippa’s Guardians has a history of delivering exceptional holiday and study camps at a number of leading boarding schools in
England. Your child will be cared for by a team of highly capable, experienced staff from Pippa’s Guardians. The camp is led
by Louise Hughes, a qualified teacher and Camp Director for Pippa’s Camps.
All staff are DBS checked (the national safeguarding standard in the UK) and we operate a minimum staff ratio of 1:12. Most staff will live on site, including experienced Matrons and first aiders, ensuring there are professionals on hand to whom your child can turn to 24/7
We want your child to have an enriching educational experience balancing learning, relaxation and fun to create memories and friendships and important study skills that will last a lifetime.
The Programme
As May half term is a busy time for GCSE and A Level examinations, the programme offers a structured environment combining study and enjoyable activities and social events. The programme consists of supervised self study sessions, 1:1 academic consultations in core subjects group revision sessions, as well as relaxation and stress relieving activities. Students who have online tuition booked during the half term will be offered a private room for their lessons to ensure they are not disturbed. We can also organise 1:1 lesson for your child if required (additional fees apply) Each weekday morning students must attend our revision and study sessions which are supervised in the classrooms. In the afternoons students can
choose to continue studying or take part in one of the organised activities, excursions or social events.
London Excursion
Reading is very close to London and so we will be offering students the chance to spend the day exploring the famous sites of the capital.
Our full day trip to London is £90 and will include train fare to London, group underground tickets, a hop on hop off bus tour of the famous London sights, and a Thames river cruise. Students aged 14+ will be given some free time at the end of the excursion for shopping. Students
under 14 years will be supervised at all times.

Dates and Cost
The camp will run from 27th May until 5th June.
We will have flexible arrival and departure dates, but students must book and pay for a minimum one week stay.
Pippa’s Guardians Guardianship customers benefit from a special discounted rate of £980 plus VAT for 7 nights. Extra nights are charged at £145 plus VAT per night.
The standard rate is £1160 plus VAT for 7 nights. Extra nights are charged at £165 plus VAT per night.
The optional London trip is £90 and must be prebooked.
