Student Code of Conduct – Pippa’s Guardian’s Summer Camp

We are so delighted you will be joining us at our Half Term camp this year. We have carefully planned our camp to be relaxing, fun and educational and we have organised lots of exciting and interesting opportunities for you to experience during your time with us.

For us all to enjoy our camp experience we are asking you to stick to some simple rules which we have listed out below. By agreeing to these we can all have a fantastic time at our camp!

Behaviour

  • I agree not to leave the school grounds at any time without a member of camp staff.
  • I agree to do my best to participate in the activities so everyone can benefit positively from the camp experience.

Alcohol and Smoking

  • The purchase, possession or consumption of all alcohol including ‘Alcopops’ is strictly forbidden at the camp.
  • The purchase, possession, or consumption of any drug (other than those prescribed to you by your doctor) is strictly forbidden.
  • Any medicines needed should be detailed on our medical form so it can be safely handed out by our camp medical staff.
  • Smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere on the camp site.

Mobile Phone Usage

    • Students will need to be respectful with their mobile phone use and will be expected to have them turned off during any lesson times or in an activity where its use might cause disruption.
    • Students will be asked to be sensible with their phone use during the evenings and dependant on age may be asked to hand phones in overnight in line with similar school rules.

Social Media Usage

  • Students are asked to always be mindful of their social media usage and to not post or distribute images or information that could be harmful or distressing to others.
  • I agree to treat other people with kindness and courtesy and to be aware of others’ feelings.
  • I agree to follow instructions from camp staff at all times.
  • I agree that I will not indulge in any nuisance, intimidating or disruptive behaviour.
  • I agree I will not engage or take part in any inappropriate behaviour of a sexual or non-

Accommodation

  • Students should behave appropriately in their bedrooms, particularly after ‘lights out’ when respectful quiet should be maintained. It is forbidden to leave the bedrooms after lights out without the express permission of a member of camp staff.
  • Boys and girls are not allowed at any time in each other’s bedrooms Personal Possessions
  • Students need to be responsible for their own personal possessions and be careful with their possessions. Money, passports and other valuables can be handed in to camp staff for safekeeping.
