The programme
Senior Programme: Half Term Study and Exam Preparation
Our Senior Programme is a half term study camp designed for students preparing for important school and public examinations, including GCSEs and other key assessments. It combines focused academic study with independence, social activities and time to relax, creating a balanced and rewarding half-term programme for older students.
We understand that senior students benefit from greater independence and responsibility. Our programme gives students the freedom to manage their time and take ownership of their studies, while providing the structure, guidance and support they need to stay focused and motivated. With clear expectations and dedicated study time, students can make meaningful academic progress during the school holidays while still enjoying their half term.
Dedicated Study and Exam Preparation
Each weekday morning, students attend compulsory study sessions, providing dedicated time to revise, complete schoolwork and prepare for upcoming exams. These sessions help students establish effective study habits and make productive use of their half term.
Our experienced on-site tutors are available to support students in Maths, English and Science. Whether students need help understanding a difficult topic, answering questions or improving their revision techniques, our tutors provide individual guidance to help them study more effectively and build confidence.
Flexible Afternoons and Activities
Afternoons are more flexible, giving students greater choice over how they spend their time. Students can continue studying through optional study sessions or take a well-earned break and participate in our programme of activities and excursions.
Activities may include sports, cookery, arts and crafts, and local excursions, giving students opportunities to socialise, try new experiences and enjoy time away from their studies.
This flexible approach encourages students to take responsibility for their own workload. They can recognise when they need additional study time and when taking a break will help them return to their work feeling refreshed and focused.
A Balanced Half Term Experience
This half term study programme provides a carefully considered balance of exam preparation, independent study, social activities and relaxation. Students can work towards their academic goals without missing out on the enjoyable and social aspects of the school holidays.
By combining structured morning study with flexible afternoons, the programme helps students develop greater independence, stronger revision skills and more effective time-management habits.
Building Confidence for Future Success
Our aim is for students to return to school feeling more confident, better prepared and motivated to succeed. By the end of the programme, students will have had the opportunity to strengthen their subject knowledge, develop effective revision strategies and take greater ownership of their learning.
At the same time, they will have enjoyed a fun and memorable half term, made new friends and taken part in activities and experiences beyond the classroom.
The Senior Programme is an ideal choice for students who want to make meaningful academic progress while enjoying a supportive, independent and rewarding half-term experience.

Benefits of attending
Our Senior Programme helps students make real progress while still enjoying their half term. They have the time and support to stay on track with their schoolwork and prepare for important exams.
Students benefit from expert tutor support in Maths, English and Science. They can ask questions, work on difficult topics and develop new revision techniques. Studying alongside other motivated students also creates a positive environment where they can encourage each other and stay focused.
The programme also helps students become more independent. They have the freedom to decide how best to use their afternoons, whether that means continuing with their studies or taking time to relax and enjoy an activity or excursion.
There is plenty of opportunity to have fun, make friends and enjoy time with peers. For many students, this is one of the highlights of camp.
By the end of the programme, students return to school feeling more confident, organised and prepared for their exams. They have made progress with their studies while also enjoying a fun and memorable half term.
